These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "GTC") govern sales made on the Designer Bag Alert website (hereinafter the "Site").
Any order placed on the Site implies unreserved acceptance of the GTC by the customer (hereinafter the "Customer"). The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of the order.
1. SELLER IDENTITY
The Site is published by Designer Bag Alert (hereinafter "we" / "the Seller"). Legal information about the publisher (company name, address, registration, etc.) can be found on the Legal Notice page.
2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The GTC apply to all product orders placed on the Site and delivered to the address specified by the Customer.
3. PRODUCTS
The Products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy (photographs, description, condition, dimensions, accessories). Photographs are illustrative: differences may exist depending on lighting or screen used.
Unless otherwise stated, Products are pre-owned items. The Customer acknowledges that they may show signs of use consistent with the condition indicated on the product page.
4. PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included, excluding any applicable shipping costs. The invoiced price is the one displayed on the Site at the time of order validation.
5. ORDERS
The Customer places an order by following the online purchase process (cart, delivery information, payment selection, validation). The order is deemed confirmed after payment validation and sending of a confirmation (on-screen display and/or email, depending on the Site process).
In the event of exceptional unavailability of a Product after ordering, the Customer will be informed and the order may be cancelled with a refund of the corresponding amount.
6. PAYMENT
Payment is made via the methods offered on the Site (e.g. credit card and/or PayPal, subject to availability). Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
7. DELIVERY
Delivery conditions, areas served, estimated timeframes, costs and delivery methods are detailed on the Shipping Policy page.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided when placing the order.
8. RECEIPT AND INSPECTION
Upon receipt, the Customer must check the condition of the package and the Product. In the event of any apparent anomaly (damaged package, missing or deteriorated Product), the Customer is advised to note reservations with the carrier and retain any useful evidence (photos, packaging).
9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the Product to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to justify the decision, subject to exceptions provided by law.

10. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Return conditions, the expected condition of the returned Product, as well as refund timeframes and methods, are set out on the Refunds & Returns page.
11. LEGAL WARRANTIES
The Customer benefits from applicable legal warranties, in particular:
- the legal warranty of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code),
- the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
12. RETENTION OF TITLE
The Product remains our property until full payment of the price by the Customer.
13. LIABILITY
We implement all reasonable means to ensure the proper functioning of the Site and the fulfilment of orders. However, our liability shall not be engaged in the event of non-performance or improper performance attributable to the Customer, an unforeseeable and insurmountable act by a third party, or a case of force majeure.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of a force majeure event as defined by French case law, the performance of obligations is suspended for the duration of the event. If the impediment continues, the order may be terminated under the conditions provided by applicable law.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content of the Site (text, images, logos, graphic elements, etc.) is protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
16. EVIDENCE
Electronic records made during the ordering process (including validation steps and payment proofs) constitute evidence of transactions.
17. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These GTC are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is encouraged to seek an amicable solution before taking any action. Failing that, the competent courts shall be seized in accordance with applicable jurisdiction rules.
